Specialising in folk and traditional music of the British Isles.

Tuition for all ages and abilities

Teaching lessons with sheet music notation, or by ear (a common practice when learning folk, and all round a very helpful skill!)

The structure of a lesson is heavily based around you as a student, and what you would like to achieve. Whether you want to learn an instrument from scratch, delve into the world of music theory, gain some more technical skills, learn by ear, or have a go at some composition and improvisation.

If you play an instrument not listed here, but specifically want folk music lessons, please get in touch as I may be able to point you toward another great teacher who can help.
